Karate - Meditation and Yoga

Meditation

Meditation cultivates an emotional stability that allows the meditator to experience intense emotions fully while simultaneously maintaining perspective on them. Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon your own breath, to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal growth.

Meditation and Yoga

Meditation benefits people with or without acute medical illness or stress. People who meditate regularly have been shown to feel less anxiety and depression. Meditation produces a state of deep relaxation and a sense of balance or equanimity. Out of this experience of emotional stability, one may gain greater insight and understanding about one's thoughts, feelings, and actions. This insight in turn offers the possibility to feel more confident and in control of life. Meditation facilitates a greater sense of calmness, empathy, and acceptance of self and others.

Meditation can be used with other forms of medical treatment and is an important complementary therapy for both the treatment and prevention of many stress-related conditions. Regular meditation can reduce the number of symptoms experienced by patients with a wide range of illnesses and disorders. Based upon clinical evidence as well as theoretical understanding, meditation is considered to be one of the better therapies

YOGA - The Inner Journey

Meditation and Yoga

Yoga is not a religion, but a way of living with health and peace of mind as its aims.

The term yoga comes from a Sanskrit word which means yoke or union. Traditionally, yoga is a method joining the individual self with the Divine, Universal Spirit, or Cosmic Consciousness. Physical and mental exercises are designed to help achieve this goal, also called self-transcendence or enlightenment. On the physical level, yoga postures, called asanas, are designed to tone, strengthen, and align the body. These postures are performed to make the spine supple and healthy and to promote blood flow to all the organs, glands, and tissues, keeping all the bodily systems healthy. On the mental level, yoga uses breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation (dyana) to quiet, clarify, and discipline the mind. However, experts are quick to point out that yoga.

Yoga has been used to alleviate problems associated with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, migraine headaches, asthma, shallow breathing, backaches, constipation, diabetes, menopause, multiple sclerosis, varicose veins, carpal tunnel syndrome and many chronic illnesses. It also has been studied and approved for its ability to promote relaxation and reduce stress.

Yoga can also provide the same benefits as any well-designed exercise program, increasing general health and stamina, reducing stress, and improving those conditions brought about by sedentary lifestyles. Yoga has the added advantage of being a low-impact activity that uses only gravity as resistance, which makes it an excellent physical therapy routine; certain yoga postures can be safely used to strengthen and balance all parts of the body.

We teach yoga to strengthen you inner parts of the body and give you complete change in your life to understand the importance of yourself. We have trained around 400 professionals and students all across the city. Yoga does not have any age to learn it is just will to learn and make you fit both internally and externally.

Stress Management

Meditation and Yoga

Stress is the "wear and tear" our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment; it has physical and emotional effects on us and can create positive or negative feelings. As a positive influence, stress can help compel us to action; it can result in a new awareness and an exciting new perspective. As a negative influence, it can result in feelings of distrust, rejection, anger, and depression, which in turn can lead to health problems such as headaches, upset stomach, rashes, insomnia, ulcers, high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke.

In COLT we make you first understand and realize to Identify the unrelieved stress and teach you to come out of it.

Primal Painting:

This is a kind of art where the mental stress is relieved by painting our problems. Here the participants are given paint and a chart and they are asked to meditate and think about a bad past happened in their life. Then they can start painting thinking about the problem and later on they are again asked to attend meditate for a longer period and the same process is repeated by giving the same chart. Here the picture gets clarity and participants feel the difference in painting and they feel lighter about the same problem which they would have thought about. It's a art which make you understand the importance of meditation and make you feel the difference in yourself.
